Success

Society, in general, tends to equate success with material wealth and possessions. And while those things can be an outward sign of your own career or business success - or that of your family - it reflects only a small piece of the bigger picture that is your life.

Success is not money
* It can buy you a bed of solid gold, but money can not provide you with one night of peaceful sweet sleep.

* It can buy you the finest physician, but money can not purchase divine health.

* It can buy you a mansion with the most beautiful furniture, but money can not buy you the respect and the love from the people that live there.

God wants us to be blessed financially and He does not have a problem with you having money, He has the problem with money having us. The bible says that The Love of money is the root of all evil.. It is not money itself it is the trust someone puts in money above the Lord.

The Godly Business Women's Network's Foundation Scripture is Joshua 1:8 which defines success.

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good SUCCESS.

1. 8This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth

Speak the word of God. The bible says: Life and death is in the power of the tongue. You need to speak life and not death. You need to frame your world with your words.

2. but you shall meditate on it day and night

The bible says think on these things: whatever is good, noble, just and of a good report. The bible says as a man thinketh so is he… Everything starts with our thoughts.. Our thoughts become our words and words shape our character and our character shapes our actions. Meditate on what God thinks about you.

3. that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it

The bible says to do all not some but ALL. The bible also says that those who are obedient will eat the good of the land. The bible says that a false balance is an abomination to the Lord. The bible says either be cold or hot but not luke warm or he will spew you out of his mouth saying Depart from me you workers of iniquity I knew you not.. We have to be women of obedience. When we obey we train ourselves to live a life of excellence, however when we do not obey we train ourselves to fail and give room for the enemy to come into our lives. The book of Deuteronomy chapter 28 is dedicated to the promises and benefits of those who obey. Ie: you will be the head and not the tail. Above only and not beneath, the Lender and not the borrower, blessed in the city and blessed in the field…etc.

4. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good SUCCESS.

The word of God works. This is the blueprint for prosperity and success. There is a prerequisite and a condition that needs to be met. Must do 1-3 in order to get the promised results.

Kingdom Concept

The fall of mankind recorded in Genesis chapter 3 was the result of man declaring independence from the government of heaven.

Man has been attempting to establish self government ever since resulting in utter chaos.

Romans 8:19-21 Pauls statement reveals the gact that government affects not only people of the land but the physical environment itself.

When God led the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, God told Moses to tell the people that they would be governed by the laws of heaven and led by God himself. This was God’s plan to reinstate the Kingdom of Heaven on earth once again.

Exodus 19:5-6 Israel rejected this government and wanted a King.

It is obvious when looking at the condition of our earth demand a government that is superior to any we have yet invented.

Jesus said in Matthew 4:17 Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near

The bible is about a King, a Kingdom, and a royal family of children. The bible is not a religion and never intended to be a religious book. It is about the desire of a King to extend His Kingdom to new territories through His royal family. The Bible – The word of God is about government and governing.

Authority is the Key to successful government. We need to give our businesses, families, ministries, assets, to the authority of the King.

God at Work

God calls businesspeople just as He calls pastors and ministry leaders. We can expect to see God at work through the lives of business and professional people, CEOs and managers, policeman, and nurses, athletes and salespeople.

The time has come to recognize not only that all of us are called of God, but our calling is for ministry in all facets of society. The reality is that the marketplace is in the center of society, and any effort to reach cities must include marketplace ministry.

Yes, God is at work, and He wants to work through you!

Workplace Prayer

Lord Jesus, as I enter this workplace, I bring Your presence with me. I speak Your peace, Your grace and Your perfect order into the atmosphere of my workplace.

I aknowledge Your Lordship over all that will be spoken, thought, decided and accomplished this day.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for the gifts and skill You have deposited in me. I do not take them lightly, but commit to using them responsibility and well.

Give me a fresh supply of truth and beauty on which to draw as I do my job today.

Bless my creativity, my ideas, my energy, so that even my smallest task may bring you honor.

Lord, when I'm confused, guide me - when I'm weary, energize me.

Lord, when I'm burned out, infuse me with the light of Your Holy Spirit.

May the work I do and the way I do it bring hope, life and courage to all that I come into contact with today.

And Lord, even in this day's most stressful moments, may I rest in You.

In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

New Breed of Workplace Belivers

God is rising up a remnant of workplace believers who are being handpicked to use their resources, skills, and experience to affect nations that have not heard the message of Jesus Christ. The only way they can hear is by commerce being brought into their nation through Christian workplace believers, because these are closed regions to normal missionary efforts.

"Be strong, all you people of the land," declares the Lord, "and work. For I am with you," declares the Lord Almighty. "This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And My Spirit remains among you. Do not fear" (Haggai 2:4-5).

The remnant of workplace believers God is calling today understand that they have to come out of Egypt from their past work life. Egypt signifies the way of the world. It represents sweat and toil. It is the flesh. This new way is exemplified by a pioneer spirit. God knows we need to have courage in order to move in this realm. Also, God assures us that His Spirit is with anyone who seeks to live in the realm of supernatural faith.

Are you one of these remnants He has handpicked in these days? Has He called you out of Egypt in order to do extraordinary things in your life for His Kingdom? Ask God to show you how He wants to use you in the workplace this year. Then act and "be strong, all you people of the land."

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38
